Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ghatkhed, Amravati (KVK) is run by Shramsafalya Foundation, Amravati. Shramsafalya Foundation is an non governmental organization established in 1994. Since then, the organization is engaged in Social & Educational activities. The KVK is imparting technical know-how to the farmers at their doorsteps through various programs and packages, especially in the field of Agriculture, Animal Husbandry, Horticulture, Watershed Development and  soil conservation.            

                              Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Ghatkhed, Amravati is situated 14 km away from the district headquarter on Amravati to Chandur Railway road near the famous Tapowaneshwar Temple. 

                                        The operational area of this KVK encompasses eight Talukas of Amravati district namely Amravati, Tiosa,  Chandur Railway,   Chandur Bazar, Achalpur, Dhamangaon Railway, Dharni and Chikhaldara.
